Fernando Albrecht é Cidadão de Porto Alegre
A Câmara Municipal aprovou, na última semana, o projeto de Lei, de autoria do vereador Bernardino Vendruscolo (PROS), que concede o título de Cidadão de Porto Alegre ao jornalista Dietmar Fernando Albrecht. Nascido em São Vendelino (RS) em 1943, Albrecht graduou-se em jornalismo pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Ufrgs).
O homenageado foi editor do jornal Folha da Manhã, da Empresa Jornalística Caldas Júnior. Passou também pela rádio e pela TV Bandeirantes e, desde 1996, é titular da página 3 do Jornal do Comércio. No Grupo RBS, foi produtor do programa Campo e Lavoura e redator do programa O Pregão, ambos da antiga TV Gaúcha (hoje RBS TV), além de repórter policial, editor de economia e titular da seção Informe Especial do jornal Zero Hora.
Também foi o primeiro agraciado com o prêmio Press de Jornalista do Ano e, por seis anos, recebeu também o prêmio Press de Melhor Colunista de Jornal e Revista, ambos da Revista Press. Tal sequência fez com que a publicação incluísse seu nome ao prêmio, hoje denominado “Prêmio Colunista de Jornal e Revista do Ano – Troféu Fernando Albrecht”. “É uma alegria poder conceder o título de Cidadão de Porto Alegre a alguém com a estatura cultural e histórica de Fernando Albrecht”, diz o autor, na justificativa do projeto.
