A PRF (Polícia Rodoviária Federal) flagrou na tarde desta sexta-feira (10), na BR-101, em Osório, no Litoral Norte, um automóvel Renault Fluence de Balneário Camboriú (SC), mas que portava placas de identificação de um veículo idêntico da cidade de Passo Fundo.

Os agentes abordaram o veículo durante fiscalização de rotina. O condutor, um idoso de 65 anos, entregou a documentação do automóvel. Os policiais logo constataram que as placas do carro abordado pertenciam a outro idêntico de mesma marca, modelo e cor.

Questionado sobre o fato, o condutor disse que havia comprado as placas de um homem em Porto Alegre para “simplesmente” não receber multas de trânsito, pois estava cansado de ser multado por excesso de velocidade.

Os policiais, posteriormente constataram que no cadastro real do automóvel já constavam mais de 20 multas por excesso de velocidade, dez delas cometidas no mesmo dia. As placas verdadeiras foram encontradas no porta-malas do carro.

O motorista foi encaminhado para a Polícia Judiciária local, sendo lavrada ocorrência pelo crime de adulteração de sinal identificador de veículo automotor. A pena prevista é de reclusão entre três a seis anos e multa.
